I had an amazing experience at this inn in a peaceful rural area on the Camino path. the facilities were new and clean, with a smart adaptation of the old house. the hosts were great and the design of the inn was impressive, providing plenty of space. the private shower/bathrooms were a bonus, and the free towels were a nice touch. If you book early, you can even get a 4-person room for added privacy. the beds were comfortable, with extra bunk space for your head. I highly recommend O Lagar De Jesus for pilgrims looking for a fantastic location and wonderful hospitality.
The breakfast was creative and delicious as well. Cons: No complaints.

Our stay at O Lagar De Jesus was absolutely unforgettable! The charming albergue is beautifully restored and exudes a magical atmosphere. The hospitality from the hosts truly made us feel like family. The food and wine served were top-notch, and the wonderful companionship of other pilgrims added to the joyous experience. The facilities were clean, and towels were provided. Even though there was no kitchen, we enjoyed dining at the restaurant on the terrace. We were also pleasantly surprised that we could purchase coffee or tea even at 6am when we had to leave early. The bathrooms were amazing, complete with hairdryers. The spacious garden provided a perfect place to relax and socialize. The availability of washing machines, a dryer, and a drying room was a great convenience. The bunk beds were well spaced and equipped with lockers and charging points. The daily clean linen and cozy blanket added to our comfort. O Lagar De Jesus exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it for a delightful and unique stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hostel on the Camino. The property is a renovated old stone house with so much charm and attention to detail. The beds were comfortable and spread out, giving us plenty of space. Being directly on the Camino Portuguese, it was a great alternative to staying in the city. The communal meal was a highlight, and we enjoyed drinks at the bar and relaxing in the courtyard. we highly recommend this place for a quiet and enjoyable stay.

The facilities were beautiful and rustic, with gorgeous stone buildings and two big yards. the location was ideal, just off the road for pilgrims and only 18.34km from the final walk to Santiago. It was a great starting point for my Camino Portugues.
upon arrival, there was a minor confusion where the host initially pretended that the hostel was fully booked and then later revealed it was a joke. It caused a moment of panic.

Our stay at O Lagar De Jesus was exceptional. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. The self-made food was delicious, and the rooms, beds, and baths were always clean. We loved relaxing in the beautiful garden after a long walk on the Camino. we highly recommend this hotel.
The mattress was quite hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Additionally, the breakfast and wine at dinner came with an extra cost, which was unexpected compared to other albergues we stayed at.

Beautiful stone farmhouse with large dormitories and pleasant common areas. Convenient location on the Camino. Friendly and attentive host. Individual bathrooms with windows are a nice touch.
The mattresses were extremely hard, felt like sleeping on the ground. Breakfast and wine at dinner were not included in the price, which was different from other places along the Camino.
